What happens when the weather gets bad? snowflake

If weather conditions warrant school delays, early dismissals or closings, students' families will be contacted via a phone alert notification system. Notices will also be posted on the FCPS website's home page, FCPS on Facebook page and Twitter stream, and updates will be broadcast on Channel 13 as well as local television and radio stations.

What's New...

Attention Seniors:  If you would like help completing your FAFSA, there will be a representative from Higher Education on January 23rd and 24th from 8:30 – 2:20 to help complete the form.  You many also bring a parent to learn about the FAFSA.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office and pick up the FAFSA Checklist for a 30 minute help session.

ESS Tutoring and ESS PLATO Credit Recovery will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 p.m.   Lex Tran bus passes will be available to ESS students who need them.

School Calculators: If you find a "school bus yellow" calculator, please return it to a math teacher.  These calculators can only be purchased by schools and are not loaned to students for use outside of class.


BSHS Sports

Girls Spring Fast-Pitch Softball: Workouts for all girls that want to participate* in the Spring for Fast-Pitch Softball will be on the following days until Feb.15th.

  • Mondays---6:30-7:45,
  • Wednesdays--3:45--5:30,
  • Fridays--3:45--5:30 ( Pitchers and Catchers only).

*Students must have a completed physical on file with Coach White.
